Search Engine Optimization for Image in Blogger

Search engine optimization is needed to increase our organic traffic. 3 Steps to Search engine optimize Pictures in blogger -

1. Insert the picture 

2. Select and click on Properties 

3.  Here you can see 2 fields Title text and Alt text 

     Title text-   Write the title of the image you want to show in search engine. 

                         Don't skip this step title is important.

                        

      Alt tag-    Alternative tag is used explain what your image is,here you can also 

                        enter keywords that is related to the image that is separate by commas.

                        Don't write too many words maximum of 15 words.

                        [Avoid keywords that is not related to the image, don't spam]

Google says about Alt Tag  -

"As the Google bot does not see the images directly, we generally concentrate on the information provided in the “alt” attribute. Feel free to supplement the “alt” attribute with “title” and other attributes if they provide value to your users!"

Example - If you have an image of a puppy (these seem popular at the moment :-)) playing with a ball, you could use something like “My puppy Betsy playing with a bowling ball” as the alt-attribute for the image. If you also have a link around the image, pointing a large version of the same photo, you could use “View this image in high-resolution” as the title attribute for the link.
